The Wachowski Brothers are now the Wachowskis. 2014 saw the first transgendered Emmy nominee. As definitions of gender become more fluid, how is the media (and fandom) keeping pace?

Bend it like Bechdel
Finding an alternative to the Bechdel test. The Mako Mori test isn't quite right either. We know when we've found a movie or story that we feel is at least some better representation of women. But it doesn't always pass the test. So, what does it need? What do we want? Or, what are we willing to accept? This has probably been done to death...
