We Love Wonder Woman!
Wonder Woman debuted in 1941, the creation of a man who wanted boys and girls to see a female superhero. Since then Wonder Woman has remained a feminist icon even when her writers and artists haven't gotten the message themselves. In this panel we talk about the history of Wonder Woman and why she is so important not only to the culture of comics but to our broader culture as well.

Bend it like Bechdel
Finding an alternative to the Bechdel test. The Mako Mori test isn't quite right either. We know when we've found a movie or story that we feel is at least some better representation of women. But it doesn't always pass the test. So, what does it need? What do we want? Or, what are we willing to accept? This has probably been done to death...
